California Technology Agency Secretary Carlos Ramos has been named one of the nation’s Top 25 Doers, Dreamers and Drivers of 2013 by Government Technology Magazine.
The 25 state and local government recipients from across the nation were selected for their innovative ideas improving the daily lives of citizens and will be featured in the March issue of Government Technology Magazine.
The magazine described Secretary Ramos as a “power player in California IT” for more than two decades and applauded his vision and leadership driving California government’s use of technology to improve services to citizens, as well as enhance citizen engagement through mobile technologies. California government is working with and for citizens anytime, anywhere and from any device via robust online services and a California Mobile Gallery, featuring mobile apps developed by State departments.

- Joe Panora – Director of the Division of Enterprise Information Services, California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation
- Dr. Jonathan Reichental – Chief Information Officer, City of Palo Alto

Secretary Ramos was appointed Secretary of the California Technology Agency by Governor Brown on June 27, 2011.
