Securing its place to be one of the most tech savvy state agencies for the millions of Californians who own iPhones, the Department of Motor Vehicles has launched an application that allows customers to find a local field office, the average wait time at that office and how to get there using turn by turn directions via GPS. The iPhone app, called "DMV Now," also allows future drivers to take sample written driving tests and much more. Check out the video demo and press release. The DMV was also one of the first state agencies to post videos on YouTube to make their educational materials easily accessible to customers.
