This week, state IT officials will have a terrific opportunity to attend the Executive Institute (ei) , an annual two-day event hosted by the Office of Technology Services – in fact, this year we are celebrating its 20th anniversary. The event is being held in Rancho Cordova starting on January 20th.

With speakers, panels and workshops, the Executive Institute is designed for IT leaders in California state government to come together as we work toward modernizing technology throughout state programs. It’s important for us to have a healthy dialogue so we can maintain a culture of collaboration and success, especially as we face such daunting budget challenges.

I would like to congratulate P.K. Agarwal and the ei Steering Committee members for organizing a great event this year. Appropriately titled, the theme is Shaping Crisis into Opportunity. Speakers include Phil Gerbyshak, Martha Dorris, Tom Sheehy, Brian Gruber, Vivek Wadhwa, Secretary Linda Adams and more.

More details and the agenda can be found here.

If you are not able to attend, please stay tuned for some highlights to be posted on here our website.
